EAA YOUNG EAGLES

Have you ever thought that you'll never get the chance to fly in a small airplane and take flight lessons? Well, you're in luck, on every First Thursday of the month EAA's Chapter 663 Based at the Livermore Airport runs the Young Eagles program. The EAA Young Eagles Program is a fantastic program for children of all ages. Eagles that are ages 8 to 17 are able to take Young Eagle Flights where a volunteer pilot takes up a group of young aspiring pilots to the great blue sky. During the event, there can be a large variety of aircraft from exciting experimental aircraft to the classic Cessna and Pipers. These flights usually run from 25 to 30 mins long. If you are thinking of flight training come to fly with the eagles and feel for yourself if flight training is something you want to do.
